Analyze keyword and product target performance from Claude with Launch Fast MCP.
Analyze keyword and product target performance from Claude with Launch Fast MCP.
Amazon Ads Targeting Performance helps Claude inspect how Sponsored Products keywords, match types, and targeting expressions perform across campaigns. It focuses on the targeting layer of Amazon Ads: the keywords and product/category targets that decide when ads can show.
Use this report when you want to understand which targets are driving spend, clicks, orders, sales, ACOS, and ROAS, and which targets may need manual bid, budget, match type, or campaign review.
Connect Amazon Ads in Launch Fast Settings -> Authentication and wait for Sponsored Products targeting data to sync before using this report.
What This Report Shows
Amazon Ads Targeting Performance is a target-level Sponsored Products report.
| Question | What the report can show |
|---|---|
| Which keywords or targets spend the most? | Targets ranked by spend. |
| Which targets generate ad sales? | Targets with attributed orders and sales. |
| Which targets have weak efficiency? | Targets with high ACOS or weak ROAS. |
| Which match types perform best? | Broad, phrase, exact, and product/category target comparison. |
| Which targets get clicks but few orders? | Target-level conversion or relevance problems. |
| Which campaigns are spending on a target? | Campaign breakdown for one keyword or targeting expression. |
| Which targets need manual review? | Targets that may need bid, negative, match type, or structure review. |
Product Performance shows advertised products, Campaign Performance shows the campaign-level picture, Search Term Performance shows shopper queries, and Targeting Performance shows the keywords and targeting rules you are bidding on.
How To Use This Report
Use this report to evaluate the targets you control.
| Pattern | Common interpretation |
|---|---|
| High spend and strong sales | The target may be worth defending, depending on ACOS, margin, and strategy. |
| High spend and weak sales | The target may need bid reduction, negative matching, match type review, or listing review. |
| High clicks and low orders | Shopper intent may be weak, the target may be too broad, or the product page may not convert. |
| Strong ROAS and low spend | The target may have scaling room. |
| Broad target converting | The search terms behind it may be worth harvesting into exact match. |
| Exact target wasting spend | The bid, relevance, or product fit may need manual review. |
Do not judge a target from ACOS alone. Launch campaigns, ranking campaigns, defense campaigns, and mature profit campaigns can have different acceptable ACOS levels.

| Signal type | Look for |
|---|---|
| Positive signals | Targets with strong sales and acceptable ACOS, high ROAS with enough order volume, exact-match targets that consistently convert, product targets with profitable sales, broad or phrase targets that reveal useful search terms, or targets performing well across multiple campaigns. |
| Risk or opportunity signals | High spend with no or weak sales, many clicks but few orders, broad targets spending too widely, exact targets with poor conversion, targets with strong ROAS but very low spend, product targets that may be irrelevant to the advertised product, or one campaign carrying most of a target's spend inefficiently. |
