Launch Fast workflow overview

The Launch Fast Workflow

Launch Fast supports each stage of your product journey with a three-phase workflow that successful sellers follow:

  1. Research — Use Market Research to scan markets, analyze competition, identify keyword gaps, and validate demand before committing capital.

  2. Launch — Compare suppliers in Supplier Research, calculate margins with the Profit Calculator, and plan keywords with PPC Research.

  3. Manage — Use Rank Tracker to monitor keyword rankings and competitor movement, then refine listings and campaigns from real performance data.

Launch Fast follows this progression and keeps the necessary information in one place. Each feature reduces uncertainty and gives information for quick decisions.

Our Philosophy

Launch Fast is all about speed, clarity, and focus. Our goal is to help sellers kill bad ideas quickly and focus on the opportunities that matter most.

All Launch Fast insights are modeled estimates. Use them to find strong markets, avoid weak markets, and focus your time. Validate ideas with Launch Fast. Then do more checks before you make a sourcing or launch decision.

The Foundation

Launch Fast draws from multiple trusted sources to build a clear, complete market view:

  • Amazon Marketplace Data — product listings, prices, ratings, and category rankings
  • Search & Advertising Trends — keyword volumes, competition levels, and CPC estimates
  • Supplier & Sourcing Signals — manufacturer details and quality indicators from verified directories
  • Historical Insights — long-term pricing, ranking, and review trends for context

Launch Fast keeps your data fresh with regular updates. Each decision is backed by the latest market intelligence.

The Process

Collect

Launch Fast aggregates marketplace and third-party data from across the Amazon ecosystem, including:

  • Product Listings
  • Pricing History
  • Keyword Search Volumes
  • Advertising Costs
  • Supplier Directories
  • Competitive Positioning

Data is gathered from trusted sources and updated continuously to ensure you work with current market conditions.

Normalize

Raw data has different formats and units. Launch Fast cleans and standardizes this data. It removes outliers, fills gaps, and aligns metrics. You can then accurately compare products, markets, and opportunities.

Grade

Launch Fast gives each market a Grade from F1 to A10. The letter evaluates demand, estimated profit, competition, and stability. The Launch Fast algorithm gives the number. The letter uses three ranges for each metric:

Ideal Markets

All four stats meet targets. A-grades must have each stat Ideal + 8 verified listings.

!
Good Markets

Healthy markets with stats to watch. A Good-range stat caps the market at B grade.

Bad Markets

Stats outside our playbook. Each Bad stat drops grade one letter (1=C, 2=D, 3+=F).

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Launch Fast's data, grading system, and methodology.
How accurate are Launch Fast's estimates?Launch Fast provides estimates based on marketplace data and modeling. While our insights are designed to be reliable for decision-making, they will not be 100% accurate measurements, similar to competitors.
What does the grade (F1–A10) actually measure? The letter uses market demand, estimated profit, competition, and market stability. The Launch Fast algorithm gives the number. Use the complete grade to filter ideas.
Why do grades and metrics sometimes change?Grades and metrics update when new marketplace data becomes available. Products can change ranks and prices. Competition and seasonal trends can also change. Launch Fast tracks these changes so you can see when a market heats or cools.
What does 'modeled estimate' mean? For a modeled estimate, Launch Fast calculates a value that it cannot measure directly. Examples are monthly sales volume and profit margin. Launch Fast compares its models with known marketplace data. Use the estimate to understand scale and opportunity.
