How We Find Keywords

The Launch Fast agent analyzes thousands of keywords for your ASIN and surfaces only the best opportunities based on three criteria:

CriteriaTarget RangeWhy It Matters
Search Volume5,000 – 12,000High enough demand to drive traffic, low enough to avoid hyper-competitive terms
SPR1 – 20Indicates ranking difficulty — lower SPR means fewer sales needed to rank on page one
RelevanceMust match productAI verifies the keyword relates to your market and product title

Keywords outside these ranges are filtered out automatically. Brand names, model names, and trademarked terms are also removed by Launch Fast Agent to keep your URLs TOS-compliant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about creating Super URLs, tracking clicks, and managing campaigns.
What's the difference between Smart URL and Canonical URL?Both generate the same URL format (amazon.com/keywords/dp/ASIN). The difference is how you select keywords: Smart URL lets you enter your ASIN and AI automatically fetches, ranks, and filters the best keywords with brand names removed for TOS compliance. Canonical URL requires you to manually enter the keywords you want to target with no filtering or suggestions. Use Smart URL when you want data-driven keyword selection. Use Canonical when you already know your target keywords.
How long do Super URLs remain active?Super URLs remain active indefinitely. The short links will continue to redirect to your Amazon product pages as long as your account is active. You can archive URLs you no longer need, but archived URLs can be restored if needed later.
Can I edit a Super URL after creating it?You can edit the name, tags, and notes for any URL at any time. However, the URL itself (ASIN, keywords, marketplace, type) cannot be changed after creation — you'll need to create a new URL with different parameters.
What analytics data is tracked?Launch Fast tracks total clicks, unique visitors, device type (mobile/desktop/tablet), referrer source, and country. Daily click data is retained for 30 days in the dashboard. All tracking is privacy-conscious — IP addresses are hashed and not stored in plain text.
Are 2-Step URLs safe to use?2-Step URL types are designed for advanced ranking strategies and carry inherent risk. Amazon may detect patterns if used heavily for ranking manipulation. We recommend using Safe URL types (Canonical, Add to Cart, Buy Together, Targeted ASINs, Clean Page) for most marketing campaigns.
How do I claim URLs from the free tool?In the dashboard, click "Claim URL" and enter the short code (e.g., abc123) or full short URL. If the URL was generated through our free tool and hasn't been claimed by another user, it will be transferred to your account with full analytics access.
